Vague Coiffure was opened in 1995 by Son Abas at the address het Bat 6 in Maastricht city centre. Before that, she gained experience at the former well-known hair salon Belles & Beaux on Onze Lieve Vrouweplein.
In 2010, Vague Coiffure moved to larger premises two doors down, at Het Bat 8. A stylishly decorated shop with an understated but warm ambience enhanced by two original chandeliers from Murano in Venice.
Son Abas, together with her professional team, have built a close relationship with a large clientele, which comes not only from the city and region, but also from the rest of the Netherlands and neighbouring foreign countries. Men, women and children of all ages appreciate the personalised treatment at Vague.
,,Our customers experience that, as a creative team, we do this work with heart and soul and take great pleasure in letting everyone leave feeling satisfied every day. We want to make everyone more beautiful in their own way and we like to listen to individual wishes. We like to pamper people and make them feel at home.”
Vague Coiffure works by appointment, so everyone gets the right attention. ”But if there's a gap in between and someone walks in spontaneously, we'll see if we can fit that in flexibly, without having to adjust our programme."
